When Liam Mansfield got behind the wheel of his car on 20 August last year he had been drinking and was more than double the drink drive limit.
After attempting to overtake a tractor on A141 between Warboys and Chatteris, he lost control and collided with Stephanie Rivers and her wife, Debbie Rivers, who were in their VW Polo.
Tragically, Stephanie was killed in the collision and Debbie seriously injured. In tribute to Stephanie, her family said: “Steph was a kind, caring, beautiful, animal-loving daughter, wife, sister and auntie. She will be forever loved and truly missed by all who were lucky enough to have known her.”
Mansfield is now serving six years behind bars and an eight-year driving ban.
